NJ In-Person Boating Exam

For those who prefer to take the boating safety course online, we offer the Proctored Exam.

This is the required New Jersey State Police-approved in-person exam, so that you can receive your boating certificate.  Before taking this in-person exam, you will first need to complete the online course at boat-ed.com/newjersey

We offer the exams at various locations in central New Jersey.

Proctored exams are $50 per student, cash at the door.

Upon passing the test, you will be issued a valid temporary certificate, making you a legal boater.

You must register in advance for this exam.
